Beach House Bar & Grill Garden City was welcomed into the group in 2007.

Aussie spirit on menu

Quest-Southern-Star-Article-of-15August2007_03BEACH House Bar & Grill is described as fun, young and Australian by director, Adrian Rosato.
‘‘We’re a steak and seafood house,’’ Mr Rosato said.

‘‘We wanted to do something different.
‘‘Australians are deeply patriotic, not in a chest-thumping way, but welove our culture.’’
Beach House offers customers thefinest Australian beef, supplied byQueensland Choice Meats, and thefreshest Pacific catch, from OceanFresh Seafood, in a relaxed beach culture atmosphere.

The food is complemented by a wide range of fine beer, wine and spirits.
This is the fifth Beach House opened since the first was launched at Maroochydore in 2001.
Brisbane CBD, Redbank and Stafford outlets have opened since then, with Garden City joining the ‘‘family’’ last month.

‘‘This is a great entertainment precinct,’’ Mr Rosato said.
‘‘We’ve always wanted to open here and now the time is right.’’
To celebrate the opening, heats of the Bartercard Miss Indy competition will run each Saturday night in August, with the final set down for
Saturday, September 8.

The contest is open to any single girl aged over 18 since June 1, and each winner spends 10 days on the Gold Coast in October playing a prominent role in the Lexmark Indy 300.
Beach House is open ‘‘from breakfast until late’’, seven days a week.
‘‘It’s not just a bar or club,’’ Mr Rosato said.

‘‘We’re somewhere between surf club and steakhouse.’’
With that in mind, the venue has introduced a Tuesday night offer where patrons can have a meal and movie ticket from as little as $17.90, or a steak, salad and chips for $7.90 on Monday nights.

There is trivia and poker on Tuesday and Wednesday nights while, from Thursday to Sunday, entertainment at the venue is top billing.
